Visions of a Perfect Life is out today

I am incredibly proud to share with you my new album, Visions of a Perfect Life. The title is taken from a line in a song from the album. I liked it enough for an album title because I think it’s pretty spot on. There’s no such thing as a perfect life; all we have are visions of what something like that could be. No perfect life, no perfect album, just attempts to keep making ourselves into better people.

But hey, I think I did a pretty good job here.

This album is the result of a lot of work done by a lot of people and even though it’s pretty easy to slap my name on it at this point and call it done, it couldn’t have been realized without the help of a lot of talented people. Namely:

Dexter Wolfe, recording, mixing, some instruments, and general camaraderie.
Todd Olson, drums
Pat Keen, double bass
Tessa Nichols-Meade, violin
James Castañeda, cello
Makayla Ferraro, viola
Jake Baldwin, trumpet
Erin Conroy, trumpet
Vincent Harrison, saxophone
Miles Allen, saxophone
Ben Link, trombone
Andrew Thoreen, trombone
Clifton Nesseth, flute
Adelyn Strei, clarinet
Matt Olson, Wurlitzer
Michael Keyes, banjo and mandolin
Patrick Moore, cover art
Greg Reierson, mastering
ee cummings, for having beheld his sunset long enough that I can freely use some of his poetry
You reading this right now. Thank you so much.

It brings me joy to give this music to you. I can only hope this music brings you the same joy. Buy the disc or listen on your preferred streaming service.
